What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in comparable ways. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences and to provide analytics.
How we use them
We keep our use deliberately minimal. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through this site.
Cookies we set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
theme | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. | Persistent (local storage) |
Hosting / security | Strictly necessary | Set by our hosting provider to route requests and mitigate abuse. | Session |
Analytics | Analytics (optional) | Aggregate, anonymised measurement of page visits so we can improve the site. | Up to 24 months |
Note:this table must be kept accurate. If you add analytics, a chat widget, embedded video or any marketing pixel, update this list. Where the law in your visitors’ jurisdictions requires it, also add a consent banner that blocks non-essential cookies until consent is given.
Third-party content
Our contact page embeds a map from OpenStreetMap so you can find our office. When that map loads, the provider may receive your IP address and set its own cookies. This content only loads when you visit that page.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear existing ones. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of this site work. Your theme preference, for example, will not be remembered.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever our use of cookies changes. Please check back periodically.
