What does Smart Forum actually do?

Three things. Digital transformation — websites, custom software, mobile applications and social media marketing. Managed services — employee training, security risk analysis, device support, official events and programme management. And capacity building — 5G and AI training delivered in collaboration with the Qualcomm Wireless Academy.

Is Smart Forum the same company as the Central Asian Cellular Forum?

Yes. Smart Forum is the current name of the organisation formerly known as the Central Asian Cellular Forum, registered as 3G Technologies (Guarantee) Ltd. The entity, the registration and the institutional experience are continuous — only the name and the scope have changed.

How do engagements usually start?

Accepted Answer

With a free scoping call, followed by a short discovery phase if the project is complex. Discovery produces a requirements brief, a technical approach and a realistic estimate, and it is yours to keep whether or not you continue with us.

Question 4

Who owns the code and intellectual property?

Accepted Answer

You do, completely, on final payment. Source code, infrastructure definitions, documentation and design files are all transferred to your accounts. We do not hold clients hostage through ownership.

What is your relationship with the Qualcomm Wireless Academy?

Accepted Answer

Our 5G capacity-building courses are delivered in collaboration with the Qualcomm Wireless Academy. The curriculum follows the 3GPP standards rather than any single vendor’s product line, and courses run from executive-level primers through to protocol-level engineering training.

Can training be delivered on-site, or is it online only?

Both. Courses run instructor-led, on-site at your premises or virtually, in cohorts of any size. We start with a training-needs assessment so the curriculum matches the roles in the room rather than a fixed syllabus.

Do you work with organisations outside Pakistan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We serve clients across Asia and beyond, and maintain deliberate working-hours overlap with client teams in the Gulf, Europe and further afield. Delivery is remote by default with on-site phases where the work genuinely requires them.

Do you sign NDAs and data processing agreements?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as standard, before any commercially sensitive detail is discussed. We also accommodate data-residency requirements and can work within your own cloud accounts where your policy requires it.

What happens after a project launches?

Most clients move onto a support arrangement covering monitoring, security patching, incident response against agreed response times and an allocation for ongoing improvements. It is optional, and the handover is complete either way.

How quickly can you start?

Typically two to four weeks from a signed agreement, depending on the specialisms required. If a project is urgent, say so on the scoping call and we will be straight with you about what is realistic.
