Our story
From a telecom forum to a technology software house
Smart Forum began as the Central Asian Cellular Forum, convening the operators, regulators and vendors who were building the region's mobile networks. Registered as 3G Technologies (Guarantee) Ltd., the organisation has been part of the technology ecosystem here since 2013 — long enough to have watched successive generations of mobile technology arrive, and to know which promises each one actually kept.
That convening role never stopped, but the work around it grew. We established PhoneWorldin 2013, now one of Pakistan's most credible digital publishing companies. We launched Medelz as a creative platform where artists, fans and brands meet. And we are the technology partner behind the Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation, building the platform that carries its drug prevention programme to young people at scale.
Today Smart Forum is a technology software house with three practices — digital transformation, managed services and capacity building — delivering cutting-edge, timely and cost-effective solutions that propel organisations into the digital era. The mission has stayed the same throughout: build the future with AI, and make sure the people around it are equipped to use it well.
